The idea for a tropical fortress residence came about as a reaction to observing some indigenous huts and totems while meandering through the lush jungles of the Big Island, Hawaii. Multiple towers with rooms providing unique views joined at the base. I was going for an ancient futurism look, making the residence resemble an ancient craft of sorts.
